C. Gary Moody

C. Gary MoodyBorn into a military family, C. Gary Moody spent his childhood moving from state to state until his family settled in sunny Gainesville in 1958, where he attended and graduated from P.K. Yonge High School.

After serving in the U.S. Navy, Gary attended the University of Florida where he received a degree in Journalism in 1968, and subsequently, a degree in Law in 1971. The Florida Bar admitted him to practice law later that same year.

Gary has also been admitted to practice before all three Federal District Courts in Florida, the Federal Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

Today, Gary practices family law, personal injury law, medical malpractice, banking law, and general commercial and business law. Gary is a Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney and a Certified Family Law Mediator.

In addition to his successful law practice, Gary is involved locally as a member of the Board of Directors of the Life South Blood Center. He is a founder and member of the Gainesville Charitable Foundation (formerly the “Gainesville Crescent Foundation”), a non-profit organization formed to help children in the community who are disabled by injury, sickness, or birth defects.
