Robert A. Lash

Robert A. LashA native of Rutland, Vermont, Robert Lash graduated from Seabreeze High School in Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1969. He later earned a B.A. from the University of South Florida in Business Administration and Marketing.

Rob did his masters work in building construction at the University of Florida, and earned a J.D. degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. He is also a State Certified General Contractor with over thirty years experience in residential and commercial construction and development.

He was vice president of the Florida Home Builders Association, president of the Gainesville Builders Association (GBA), and is currently a member of the GBA’s Board of Directors. He was also voted Builder of The Year by his peers in the construction industry. He was a previous member of the Alachua County Code Enforcement Board and Alachua County Plan Board. Currently he is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Florida School of Building Construction.

As a licensed real estate broker, Rob is involved with the Gainesville Board of Realtors. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Gainesville and volunteers as a leader for the Boy Scouts of America at the local and district levels.
