Biography
George P. Ord received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland in 1968, a Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 1971 and a Juris Doctor Degree from Duke University in 1974. He has practiced law in Palm Beach County since 1974. He has extensive experience in litigating cases in Florida state and federal courts involving probate and trust matters; real estate contract, title and boundary line disputes; breaches of contract; construction defects; landlord and tenant disputes, condominium owners' rights and general civil litigation.
Mr. Ord is board certified in Civil Trial and Business Litigation by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education. Mr. Ord has also briefed and argued many appeals in the Florida Appellate Courts. He holds an AV rating, the highest ratings for professional excellence and ethical standards award by Martindale-Hubbell one of the oldest and most recognized lawyer rating services in the United States.
